REVEAL is an application for Microsoft® Windows® XP, Vista & 7, that provides a wealth of features for extracting, interpreting, visualising and analysing data captured by SES data recorders. REVEAL is designed with ease of use in mind, including an intuitive user interface which allows rapid familiarisation for operators from Air Crew to Data Analysis Specialists, supported by a comprehensive User Manual.

Key features of REVEAL include:
REVEAL is the partner product to the S3DR range of solid state data recorders. Designed with complete integration in mind, REVEAL allows fast and easy access to data streams recorded on SES data recorders through removable media, making data extraction and validation a simple task that can be carried out in the field with a standard laptop PC.
A wide variety of recorded input data sources are supported, including:
At the core of REVEAL is a sophisticated data interpretation engine capable of splitting data streams into individual messages, frames, or parameters, ready for visualisation. Featuring a dedicated Data Definition File (DDF) editor, REVEAL is capable of extracting and ordering data from a wide variety of sources, including the following sources:
Where multiple time references have been recorded, REVEAL allows the selection of time base for data displays. The following time sources are supported:
REVEAL provides an extensive suite of data visualisation tools, allowing the recorded data to be reviewed while in the field or during later analysis without the need for third-party tools. Any of the streams can be visualised, using the REVEAL data decommutation capability to extract the parameters to be displayed. All visualisations can be synchronised with each other using a recorded time reference channel or using the recorder internal time reference.

These windows allow the user to immediately find critical or key events in an intuitive fashion and mark them for further analysis. These visualisations can be synchronised with each other to allow a complete picture of the data to be viewed.
REVEAL allows raw data streams of recorded data to be enhanced with user defined event markers, allowing key points in the recording to be highlighted and accessed for review.
These may be created in a number of ways:
Conditional
REVEAL scans the data stream and automatically adds an event marker whenever the data meets preset user-defined criteria.
Recorder Based
REVEAL reads and displays the event markers inserted by the data recorder during the recording process, for example when an event button is pressed.
Manual
REVEAL allows the user to move to any given point in the recording time line and insert their own event marker.
REVEAL allows the easy configuration of recorder units and the quick turnaround of recording media.
Central to the functionality of REVEAL is the ability to convert recorded data streams from a range of proprietary and industry-standard formats into other formats allowing further analysis using domain specific tools.

Output formats include:
